Description
*I'm assuming Rask retires at the end of this current season (2020-2021). Mentioned he needs offseason surgery, and has discussed retirement before*

Did not pay too much attention to AHL RFAs.

Nolan Patrick was signed to the exact deal that Puljujarvi was signed to last offseason with the Oilers.

Additional Details:
Dunn is clearly in the doghouse in STL. This trade provides both relatively young players with a change of scenery.

  1. Patrick, Nolan [RFA Rights]
  2. 2022 4th round pick (PHI)
Additional Details:
Struggling young player, Boston needs young centers in the organization. It may not be this exact package, but I can see Boston giving Philly a call - seems like the Flyers will be willing to move on from a lot of pieces this summer.

  1. 2022 2nd round pick (BOS)

Wow, the Dunn/Debrusk trade makes sense on both sides if you ask me, and is a classic change of scenery trade. Also good luck getting Taylor Hall under 7.5M tho. Also does this team have good enough goaltending to go far?

Dunn isn't in the doghouse. They just have too many LHD and he's the easiest to move.

I like what you have done. I have wanted to do Debrusk for Dunn all along. The problem is Blues need to do it before the X draft and Boston can’t as it exposes Grizz as well.

I’m fine with it. Many won’t be. But I think they make a trade with Seattle regardless to hold onto young d men.

If adding Dunn and keeping Lauzon Reilly can be let go.

The "word" on Dunn is just so routinely wrong.

Not a big fan of Dunn. Bruins need to do better for a top 4 LD. Reilly is a heady player but that's it. Mediocre skater at best, poor shooter and has more no hit games than Nolan Ryan. Can't believe the number of people who want to pay him between 2 to 4 M for a 3rd pair LD. Have Lauzon, Zboril, Vaak, all at least 4 years younger, one of who can certainly fill 3rd pair LD for under 1M for next year. With no high end prospects to trade for roster upgrades, having cap space to sign free agents or take advantage of cap strapped teams to make a deal is the one advantage the Bruins have over most teams. Only way to stay relevant right now.
