Carolina could definitely use some extra fire power, but I couldn't think of a worse fit on their team than Laine. I think Carolina really needs one upgrade on their middle six and one upgrade on their fourth line.

Foegele is “eh,” and Nino has felt kind of inconsistent? Idk.

Either way, we’d want Jarvis and Suzuki. And Laine isn’t giving you a 7x7.

Yeah that’s a no from cbj. A middle six winger in nino, a bottom six in foegle and a prospect isn’t enough for laine. We’d want a quality piece coming back THIS SUMMER for him. A lesser trade can be made next summer if he doesn’t work again.
