Description
Disclaimer: I am a Sabres fan, therefore I likely had trades that were lopsided to other fan bases (maybe even my own). Tell me if that is the case in the comments. Please give me the necessary details so I can avoid the mistake in the future.

Breakdowns:

BUF-LAK Trade
Sam Reinhart helps the Kings make a push now. He only has 1 year remaining (as of now), but would likely sign an extension with the Kings. Vilardi gives the Sabres a young player who can immediately slot into the lineup. This trade could also happen w/Kaliyev replacing Vilardi.

BUF-ANA Trade
Eichel helps Anaheim get another top center to go along with Trevor Zegras in the future. In return for a Top 10 center the Ducks have to top with Comtois to help fill the immediate void in Buffalo. Dostal is added to help Buffalo's bad goalie situation, but could easily be removed from the trade if necessary. Groulx and Perrault fill Buffalo's want for more forward prospects in their weak farm system right now. 1st (3 OA) would be necessary to get the deal done.

NJ-BUF Trade
Wood gives Buffalo grit and goal scoring which are 2 things they need. In return they get Risto, who I believe can be a much better d-man on a better team. The 4th is added to make up for the difference in skill between Wood and Ristolainen.

PHI-BUF Trade
This deal only gets done if the Philadelphia-Seth Jones rumor is true. It is done to avoid Philadelphia losing Myers in the expansion draft. Buffalo does it to better defense in the short term. This would allow for Power (assuming they draft him) and Laaskonen to develop.

Overpay for Reinhart. Vilardi and a 2nd or #8 and a B prospect (Kupari, Madden, or Thomas). Kaliyev is not available.

Fitz is going to send mid round pick or 2 and a meh prospect for Risto or he does nothing
I woudl assume he could have gotten more for Wood at this years TDL so I dont see it. I'd lieke Risto but not at that cost

Personally I think that Myers is likely to be a part of the Jones deal and if he's not I'm sure that they would pay to make sure he's not selected

Suppose we give up Gabe Vilardi and the eighth overall pick in this year's draft -- two essential elements of our rebuild -- for Sam Reinhart, Reinhart walks after one season, and we're left with nothing. Does that seem like a prudent risk to take?

That's why I earnestly hope that neither of my two crummy local teams even considers trading for Reinhart -- because I don't believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, or these trades that involve a one-year rental who "comes with an extension." I know you didn't say that, and I know I'm probably coming across as harsh, but I'm really dead set against a Reinhart acquisition for Anaheim or Los Angeles.

Overpay for Reinhart, can't imagine he would want to extend long term there either
