Couple problems Manson may waive ,but why does McDonagh? You've only got a 20 man roster (no taxi squad next year). You're putting a guy whose played approximately 30 NHL games on his off side.

So our reward for taking a $6.75 million cap hit off your hands for four years is a fifth-round draft pick? Really? A guy who will turn 37 right after the Stanley Cup playoffs in the last year of his contract?

I don't think Manson or Anaheim want him out of Anaheim. I'm quite fine loading up on the left side of the defense too. No need to move McDonagh.

I do look forward to seeing Raddysh, Katchouk, and Somppi leaving fans of other teams wondering how our apparently bottom of the barrel prospect pool keeps turning out NHL players. All 3 are the real deal in my opinion.
