Description
Won't be able to resign Chiarot. Perhaps I can bring back Carter at league minimum if he's willing to accept. Same thing with Kulak. And Allen has to either get drafted by Seattle or he gets traded. All that just to be able to sign Suzuki, Evans and Romanov to short afforable bridges.Hopefully Weber retires in 2 yrs , the same time I need to resign Caufield. I'll wing it when the time comes.

Yeah no, first off I still think Detroit might pass even with KK in the trade. Secondly you giving up half of our good prospect for Hertl which is not worth it. Selling the Future would be dumb especially if the team would look like this because it isn't much better then what we already have

I can't tell if this is serious, but SJ accepts that obviously.

I'll have to disagree. Hertl right now is better than all centers MTL has presently until Suzuki dethrones him, if ever . He plays a 200 ft game. He might not be defensively as good as Danault but he still capable of playing 1st PP and PK units and he can put up 70+ pts in 82 game seasons. Carter can put up really good offensive numbers if given the right wingers and IMO Toffoli and Armia are more than adequate flanking him. Forsberg and Bertuzzi are big upgrades on Drouin and Lehkonen in all aspects of the game. In general we might have lost a bit of defensive qualities but offensively on paper it's an undeniable improvement IMO.

On defense I didn't up grade but I'm hoping the top 4 can play their game and the upgraded offense to make up for the lack of not adding another puck moving D.

I can't argue your statement about KK. I think Detroit accepts but maybe they really value Bertuzzi to not accept. I think he'll be too old by the time they improve enough to contend so perhaps they'll want to add KK to their youth.
