    From a Vancouver perspective - Ownership will not retain salary on multi-year deals.
    What would the trade look like if.....and/or,
    1. No retained salary
    2. Bean is included
    3. UFA rights to Hakanpaa

    That’s not 2.5M I’m retention. It’s 5M in retention since it’s 2 years plus the contract is backloaded so you’d be looking at a first round pick to facilitate that from a third party.
