Description
Local boy on an expiring, inexpensive contract who has put up decent numbers on some dreadful red wings teams. I feel like he’d be a solid top 6 addition and would be less expensive than bertuzzi. Is he on the trade block? And what is the asking price?

That would probably work. I think Detroit would prefer to move him at the deadline as he currently slots in at 2C. Detroit doesn't have any depth at center

The Fabbri at 2C experiment didn’t really work out last season. I think he stays on the wing indefinitely. Right now namestikov, Veleno, and Ras are the three projescted Cs. That being said, I do think this would be a trade Det considers

Detroit probably makes this deal. Fabbri played little time in middle last season so loss not as impactful. Allows Veleno opportunity more minutes and would make retaining Glendening higher priority. I would prefer this move vs. losing Bertuzzi, IMHO.

The vibe I get from Stevie is that he’s not shopping anybody but everyone is available for a price. I think Larkin is the only off limits player just because he would want to keep continuity at Captain. Other than him, even Seider would be available if a team wanted to seriously overpay.
