Finding Center and Other Pieces to take next step
I appreciate the civility of your feedback by the way. Just throwing out ideas for ways to add a 1A/2 center here. I do think NJ would be interested in a player like Bertuzzi (I would hate to see him moved), but I think he irritated the management with his unwillingness to get vaccinated and his value is currently high. Also would help that there are no Canadian teams in Metropolitan Division. I agree probably too light for what I proposed, but with Hughes a clear #1 Center and NJ has other young C options, my thoughts on how to acquire Hischier.
So my question: is Hischier totally untouchable or would it just take a much better package?

Wild Fans what would it take for Fiala
My opinion is that assets need to be applied toward 2C and Defense before adding another wing. Although I like idea of Fiala on the roster, think need address other areas first.

Wings and Leafs
With Campbell injury time is right to strike! I like the idea of grabbing Kerfoot in the deal to man 2C, but I would propose to replace Mikheyev with Travis Dermott to back-fill the defense. LGRW!

Kenny amp Stevie Make a Deal with Oilers in need of DMen amp Net Help
My belief that Holland must secure his back-end or risk missing Playoffs and losing his job. Holloway meets Wings greatest need (2C) and such a young player needs to be included if Detroit retains $ and takes on expiring contract. Just an idea, I do think Holland will make a deal with someone due all injury issues.

Tampa Acquire Assets for Another run amp future cap Detroit 2nd Line Center
Thanks for commenting (politely!). Tampa eyes a 3-peat and chance to replenish depleted prospect pool, Cirelli's potential brings back picks & prospect for future along with solid veteran depth for SC run. Let's face it, this is all just fun and games, not likely to happen. However, if anyone knows TB's personnel in the league, it's SY.

Both Teams Acquire Most Glaring Need
Assessment is that Toronto needs to (use the catch phrase) "become tougher to play against". Bertuzzi would provide a move physical presence in Toronto's line-up, while Nylander provides improved offense from Detroit perspective. Now that Bertuzzi has signed his deal, he has a known cost, so this deal also provides Toronto $2M+ cap relief and a 2022 Draft pick. Interesting how all I read after the Leafs were eliminated from playoffs was that they were too skilled and lacked grit (especially harsh against Marner). This is just my suggestion, you are free to provide your own proposal!

Is fabbri available
Detroit probably makes this deal. Fabbri played little time in middle last season so loss not as impactful. Allows Veleno opportunity more minutes and would make retaining Glendening higher priority. I would prefer this move vs. losing Bertuzzi, IMHO.

Detroit Recipient Washington Cap Dump
Case of needing to find room for Ovechkin’s $10M plus and shaking up the line-up while still having Cup window open. Appears there is solid match where Wings seek young goalie and have cap space willing to use to acquire one. Just my proposal, I’m sure not likely to get done.

St Louis Cap Reset and Draft Assets
Reason these Blues included is due their attractiveness to Detroit. The intent was to question what will happen when Blues need decide protect list. Most likely before this move would be made SL offer deal to Seattle to avoid the loss. Detroit has cap and draft picks while SL has decisions to make due obligations. How do they handle the situation, I don’t know just tossing out ideas.

St Louis Cap Reset and Draft Assets
Scandella has M-NTC, which is why shown as protected. Also neglected to include Oskar Sundqvist as well. Again this is intended as discussion fodder to determine what is most likely to happen. Thought is a team with tight cap situation and handcuffed with NTC players going into a flat cap for next year, what will happen. Most likely leave Dunn exposed for Seattle or make side deal. My idea was to help cap situation while acquiring other assets vs. losing a player for nothing.

St Louis Cap Reset and Draft Assets
Intent is to plan for impact of Expansion Draft and lose key assets for nothing. At this juncture, St. Louis needs to protect due NTC: Tarasenko, Schenn, Perron, Faulk, Krug, Scandella. Then need decide who else gets protected: Thomas, Barbeshev, Blais, Kyrou, Dunn, Parayko. In this scenario St. Louis receives young players not requiring protection and draft picks. Idea is to not lose a key player for nothing. I agree drastic and probably too one-sided, but I believe many teams will be looking to teams like Detroit with Cap space and draft picks to make a deal prior to Expansion draft. Note that I did not even mention Hoffman, Schwartz, and Bozak who would need protection consideration if re-signed prior to draft. I placed Parayko in the deal mainly due high $$ allocated to Defense and Dunn due extensive detail that he was not favored in SL and available. This deal would obviously make more sense if the Detroit package included their 2021 Top 10 draft selection vs. lower 1st, but I'm just throwing out thoughts. What's your take on the protected list, someone currently contributing will most likely be taken due many NTC exclusions unless a side deal is made prior.

Minnesota could have acquired Svechnikov for nothing when he was placed on waivers. I don’t know why Blashill sour on Evgeny, but he is a non-tender candidate.

2nd Line C amp Goalie in Hockeytown New start for DeAngelo
Agree with the assessment, focus is on acquisition of 2nd line center and goalie. Deangelo could realize he’s been an asswipe and get his sh@t together. Gotta give up something to acquire talent. I think Strome with Bert and Fabbri/Zadina could be solid. I anticipate Raymond alongside Dylan’s RW soon. Robertson has nice upside as top pairing LD. Detroit could expose Greiss if acquire Georgiev. Again, MHO.
