Would love to trade for McNabb but I don't think trading Dermott, our best or second best D prospect (him and Nielsen) is worth it.
Faulk also would be great to have but it would cost us a bit more to get him likely kapanen/leipsic.
Manson would be a good add too but it makes no sense IMO to trade Gardiner for him, Gardiner is a better player, has been the Leafs best defenseman this year, 32 points and plus 22 with solid possession numbers and still getting better.

McNabb is only 26, very solid, can play 1st-3rd pairing. Just the "expirienced but not old and slow" guy this D needs.

I dont hate Dermott, but he's a MAYBE top 4 guy. Between Dermott, Nielsen, Valiev, I think one is expendable for help NOW (and my personal fav is Nielsen)

And ANA is only gonna send a D away for forward help... not another D they have to protect
