Description
With Krejci not resigning and Tuuka taking around 2 mill in the middle of the season, I think this opens up a massive opportunity for an Eichel trade. This would also help ease the minutes off Marchand and Bergeron, puts Eichel in an incredibly talented medical team, and puts him in a happy home in Boston (Played for BU before drafted)

How much does Boston have to give up to acquire him? I think the Eichel trade will have an erely similar form to the O'Rielly trade

The concept isn't crazy as Boston has cap space as they have their entire top line on value contracts.

All that being said that deal doesn't get it done. I would guess Coyle has buffalo on his ntc list but even if he doesn't he has negative value. Studnicka's value isn't all that high. I'd say the three players together have mildly positive value. Maybe a second.

So two seconds and a first from a likely contender? Pass

Has to be more - and i doubt Coyle waives to go to Buffalo. Eichel would obviously be a great fit/story in BOS

I know it still works if you swap out an extra with Swayman, but it just looks hilarious that you didn't put a backup goalie in there haha...

I'm sure Taylor Ham would be elated for this trade. Ultimately it depends if Burgeron will take the same AAV or less on his new contract. Otherwise it's pretty crazy this works

It's why I mentioned that this trade has an erely similar feeling to what BUF got got O'Rielly (Sobotka, Berlund, Thompson, Late 1st&2nd). Plus BUF really isnt in a position to have any leverage due to them not revealing the severity of Eichels injury, and Eichel demanding a trade.

Would maybe switching Studnika to Lysell get the deal done?

I also wouldn't worry about Coyle NTC. probably has all CDN teams on there lol

Whoops, I didnt change the bottom of the Dcore and Goalies lol but yeah, it just seems like the perfect match for Eichel and BOS... and BUF would be getting shafted no matter what they end up trading.
I do think Bergeron would take around 6 on his next deal. They just seem like that team... Especially if Eichel goes there. Immediate contenders
