I really don’t think 4 1sts is the strategy for this team. No guarantee those will be low picks. Could be very high and these are supposed to be great upcoming drafts.

Oh, I know. I'm just thinking about that giant cap stash that Seattle has, and wonder if they could do what Carolina did with theirs. There was the fact that the Canes used the unwritten rulebook to their advantage, though, which Ron Francis definitely does not have.

Seattle is much better keeping their picks, and spending that cap on future UFAs. The team posted even with Pettersson doesn't make the playoffs.

Well you mentioned two players. The wings are really weak. centre. At centre , Gourde is LTIR, and Wenneberg, who knows what player he is...last years or the previous two with CBJ
