Ok, it's definitely NOT going to happen (and shouldn't), but I'm still interest to see your takes on this. I think it's certainly better for Buffalo at face value, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is what you have to give up for him (he would inevitably explode in production after being traded, assuming he doesn't get injured too much). So, Sabres fans, you liking this deal?

Idk, really not sure about the retention, just don't see the Sabres retaining on Eichel, those do seem like the assets they'd be looking for though.

I added the retention in to keep Vegas under the cap. I'm sure a 2nd could probably convince them to take the bare minimum (or maybe just this deal alone).

I wouldnt hate this. Its basically perfect- its 3 forwards and a first- so it at least APPEARS to be a good fit. Vegas would be getting a top 10 center, under contract for years, and it looks pretty painless for them- sure krebs is probably an A prospect but not a blue chipper, and the first is probably pretty late. This likely has to wait til hes recovered, vegas will want those guys until eichel is ready. Only hang up, i really think pegula is gonna nix any retention.

Any team that trades for Jack will put him on LTIR until the playoffs.
