Toronto doesn't have the assets available to land Girard. Would cost Nylander which they aren't going to do

dermott, kerfoot, and engvall aren't needed at all. robertson is nice piece but not good enough to be the main piece. avs would want nylander.

Probably the easiest no from the Av's that I've seen yet.

6+ million dollars worth of underachievers and an injury prone kid that likely won't play 300 games in the NHL because he's hurt so often. No high pick to speak of.
