Cholowski seems like the obvious choice imo... have him and AA compete for the final spot.

I like those lines but I'd rather have McMichael at center and Eller at wing. I'd guess the D lines next year will be

Fehervary-Carlson
Orlov-Jensen
Cholo-TVR
Alexeyev

Though a sleeper could be Lucas Johansen, not for any reason of his play right now but simply because it seems the Caps always have to keep getting a player who come out of nowhere to play really well.

LucaJo looks solid in Hershey. I would love to see if we could trade Pilon for Alex Nylander and see if he can make a push to the current roster.

Move Eller if we have to but im afraid of injuries

So I thought about this as well, but I just don't see Eller moving to wing as a lifelong center. I also figured Caps will want to utilize MCM to develop at center. People have been calling for Kuzy to be moved to wing (before this year) throughout his career and it has never happened. Wanted to be somewhat realistic.

Regarding Cholo, maybe a change of scenario will help, but if we do move Hags (and Eller), we will have cap to spend (whether that is on D, depth forwards, or both).
