Description

I don't like DeMelo at 3M. He doesn't produce offensively, he sort of plays physical, and he's ok defensively. There's really nothing there worth 3M. People have argued that he's great defensively, but I just don't see it. I would even do with him for nothing, but some teams would give a 3rd.

What league do you watch? Offense is basically all that matters even for defensemen. Just look at the big deals for dmen or a list of Norris winners, they are all offensive guys. If you arent putting up the points, you arent getting the spotlight.

Zero reason for the Jets to give away a good defenseman for nothing at this point. Maybe they need to move someone in the off season for cap space, but not now.

I'd do it but would prefer a 2022 3rd and would try to get an extra later pick like a 5th or 6th, try to gain one back after throwing some away the last few years on the likes of Eakin and Benn(who weren't even needed).
