Leafs can just wait until a cheaper time to move bad cap, the offseason. De Haan they can make work regardless and at a much lower price.

Leaf's fans: What are you actually kidding me right now, Mrazek and Ritchie are not dumps. Where not trading them for an 8th-9th defensemen. I'd rather let Campbell walk.

TOR is fleecing us here. The 3rd-4th for DeHaan is sufficient. While a 1st is nice, that cap and term is not and will actually hamper us. We don't have a whole heap of cap heading into next year.

De Haan is surprisingly very good, I think he’d be an underrated pickup by TOR.
