Gustafson is an 800k/ year 3rd pair Dman and Fleury a starting goalie that they picked up for a 3rd round pick last year. And they get a defenceman that can put up points on a decent contract with some term. And there’s a chance that the pick turns into a 1st round pick if the oilers go deep in the playoffs and Keith plays, Barrie is clearly better than Gustafson at the same position, so a better dman swap, and a second round pick for a downgrade in goal

Barrie is not someone we are interested in. We need forwards who can play top 6 or have potential to play top 6. This is not a good move for CHI.
