Not exactly sure how, but IMO they need to ship out Ritchie & Muzzin this offseason. These contract extension are what I can envision. Please feel free to me know if you see differently.

Campbell would be taking a serious paycut to stay in Toronto for that

Pipe dreams. Ritchie costs much more to get rid of. Yea, there are better values available than Muzzin at 5.625m X 2 . So Seattle doesn't make the trade, and Muzzin certainly doesn't waive his NMC.
Fact is Leafs can't afford Campbell and Mrzarek.

The team doesn't look much different than this years team, if we don't play good in the playoffs this year this team won't next season. Need to get a few FA signings

In the month of January Campbell had a save percentage of .880 and a goals-against average of 3.57. This is most hockey he has played as a number 1 in his career. Let’s pump the breaks on what his next contract could look like.

In November, Campbell posted a .959 save percentage and had three shutouts. These numbers are completely unsustainable. He is somewhere in the middle.

I have confidence he will regain his form but a deal in the 4-5 AAV is totally realistic.

Let's talk about the D core. IT's very undersized and not good.
If there goal is to win a cup, the Defence has to be better.
