Winnipeg doesn't have the cap space for Armia, so the Jets say no.

Just some thoughts, out of curiosity...
-Let's just skip over Petry, because that's hilarious...father time catches up with all of us.
-Whatever on Lehk, I can't see it, but s'all good.
-So, Vegas is essentially paying you to take Dadonov off their hands? And they're taking back a retained Drouin? Ok, I'm listening...So Roy=Drouin, and Smith (to pay to take Dad)=Pitlick (Waiver claim that's riding an unsustainable shooting %, who also can't play defence...
-Wait. Vegas could have just sent Dadonov back to Ottawa for a high 2nd round pick?
-Giver on Subban. I mean, his numbers are better than Petry's right now, so I'm not sure why a team wouldn't just give him 3x $3.5 instead of paying a 1st+prospect to get Petry, but whatever...

It's clearly not father time who is affecting him right now - its father mental health... the guy's wife move to the US with his unborn child... I'm pretty sure its affecting his play to be away from his 3 kids (and fourth on the way).

For Lehky - probably 1 for 1 or part of a bigger trade with Chariot.

Vegas is a compounded trade -

First Drouin >> Roy - come on, Roy is nowhere near Drouin in term of production - he is still a 50+ player and Roy's best season is 22 pts... and they have 1 year difference - pump the brakes. Sure they bring something different.

Second, Its about retaining money to help them move these players or to flip them ourselves. We have cap space and VGK are pressed by time as Eichel's return is imminent.

Yeah 2022 Petry is a shell of a man right now. He needs to be reunited with his wife and kids and gotten out of this toxic situation for him.

-Re: Drouin/Roy-One has a 51 pts/82 game pace, the other has a 43/82 pace...One can't play in his own end, the other absolutely can. You can probably figure out which one would be more valuable in the playoffs.
