Description
Trading 1 player for almost every team part Anaheim
Trades
ANA
  1. Yamamoto, Kailer
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Yamamoto seems to be struggling in Anaheim and I get the sense he would fit in well with the young core of the Ducks, fitting the timeline well.
EDM
  1. Fowler, Cam
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Fowler doesn't fit the timeline for the Ducks, and with the Oilers trade history, it doesn't seem too far fetched that they would take this deal. Anaheim would have to retain some of that 6.5 million dollar cap hit but I believe this would help both sides out nicely.

Edmonton declines. Besides, they don't have the cap space.

Oilers can't really afford it cap-wise, and while he may not fit perfectly into the timeline, he'll continue to be a solid veteran presence for the Ducks. Hell, he'll only be 34-35 ish when the contract is up, so it's not like there should be any major decline between now and then.

He also has a 4 team trade list, and while I can't be 100% certain, something tells me that the Oilers wouldn't be on it...

"Fowler doesn't fit the timeline for the Ducks"?!?!? He's signed for FOUR MORE SEASONS. You think our window doesn't open until 2026?!?!?

The less said about this idea, the better.

Edmonton and Cam Fowler decline, Edmonton can't afford Fowler. And Fowler has a 4 team trade list and pretty sure Edmonton isn't one of those four teams, Seeing that he wants to play in the States only from what was mentioned before. When he singed the long term deal with Anaheim. Oh and currently Anaheim is in the playoffs and Edmonton isn't. All the more reason Fowler wont waive for Edmonton.
