Leafs and Rangers get ripped off here by quite a bit.

De Haan can be had for a 2nd, and Hagel certainly isn't worth Robertson and a 1st. Like come on..

Rangers aren't moving Kravstov + 2 other assets for a back up goalie. A back up doesn't put them over the edge at all. They're looking for either a top end left handed defence or a top 6 right handed shot for that price.

I feel you, just heard from a mate that there had been MAF rumours to NYR. I agree It doesn't make sense.

Boston already has 14 FWDs that would have to clear waivers, he does not beat out any of them and they would have to put Carpenter on waivers so what’s the point. Even when they go to expanded rosters there is little use for him. Pick, as useless as it is, is more valuable.
