Description
K I’ve seen like 30 Kapp trades today, what’s he realistically worth? I’ve seen some ridiculous elite prospects return for him all the way down to a third rounder for him, that’s a ridiculous spread so asking all pens fans to hash it out. What’s it take to get Kapp?
Prospect? Picks? Nhl ready player? Or current nhler? Combinations? Forwards or defensive players?

Doesn’t need to be team specific, just generic fair value return.

If you have a realistic trade throw it in the comments

Why trade him? Pens are doing amazing. Unless they get an upgrade.

As a Leafs fan he was always super fast but his brain couldn't keep up with his feet and he fell a lot. he was decent on the pk and was a decent top 9 guy. Has that changed?

Toffoli brought back a 1st, a 5th, an interesting prospect drafted in the 2nd round just last draft in Emil Heinenman, plus an expiring contract in T.Pitlick(1.75M). Kappy cheaper and younger.

Kappy playing poorly and still .75PPG last season and .5PPG this season. Let him get hot for acouple weeks or a month and he’s a 20 goal scorer again.

Everyone talks sh*t on Kappy, does a trade for him and then immediately inserts him on their teams 2nd Line..lol. His floor and ceiling are both high.

Since they traded a 1st(15th overall) and a prospect just a year and a half ago for him. If they don’t get a 2nd and a (B, B-) prospect back, it’s a bad deal for them. And I doubt they do anything less than a prospect and a 2nd.

Because he’s in the doghouse, playing ok, making too many turnovers, and got moved down to the 3rd line tonight. Fans think he’d can be had for their garbage.

Sullivan is just a ballsy coach. Moving Carter onto Geno wing and Kappy to the 3rd line back with E-Rod(who were playing ridiculous earlier this year together) is a good move. Just a line shake-up.

    IMO his value right now is around a 2nd + 4th or a 2nd + B prospect.

he doesn't trip up on his own feet anymore?
Honestly, he's just young and inconsistent. So they want to chase him out of town. But yeah, he's a middle six guy who's production meets his cap hit.
There is no real reason to do this. They had the same issues with Rust back in the day. I think truth is Rust might have been more hungry a a player. But that's just part of being a pro.
