A 1st, top prospect, and another solid piece is probably the starting point. More if you want retention

It all comes down to name the trading partner. The TDL is one point in time to gauge who he could fetch. Offseason only if not resigning & getting more offers.

In the end a later 1st is probable but the 2-3 other pieces will be the key. Need is RHD/LW

According to Pierre LeBrun, the Canucks message to other teams on JT Miller: Teams have to step up in a meaningful way to get their attention, or else they're happy to keep him

My guess is he goes for a 1st + another pick + 'A' prospect (not like a Luke Hughes type prospect but like a Braden Schneider type prospect)

1st, Good young roster player, and a "A" prospect is where it starts. Hopefully, one of the players is a RHD or else the price goes up

Like others have said 1st, A prospect, and young roster player.

I think it has to be the right prospect though, there's a few teams that have small offensive dmen that are really good prospects but it's really not what Vancouver needs. Ideally a RHD with a two way game and a bit of size or a center.
