Description
Here are my thoughts:

1. I think Petry still has game left, but wants a change of scenery. He is still a top 4 D and fetches prospect plus a 2nd rounder. JVR helps make the cap work and maybe he can be productive with Habs.
2. I think Armia's style of play suits the Kings organization well and we fit in with the team. I know the salary isn't great, but given the minimal return I think they would be interested. I assume there is no space on the team for Lias going forward.
3. A typical TDL move, Bolts get depth scoring on a very affordable contract. I think the salary retention bumps this from a 4th to a 3rd.
4. Seems like Chiarot will definitely be moved and I think Panthers are a good fit. Deal is Chiarot for a 2nd and a prospect which I think is fair value, I added in the extra 3rd due to salary retention.
5. Another typical TDL move, Canes get depth D on a pretty affordable contract. I think the salary retention turns the value from a 4th to a 3rd round pick.
6. This one is a little bit more out there. My thoughts are Rangers are competing right now and adding in the scoring threat of Hoffman and the more solid goaltending of Allen (assuming he is 100% healthy) they make this move. The cap might be a concern here especially with Hoffman, but given they have considerable cap space I thought this made sense. I'm sure Rangers fans will say the return is too high, but keep in mind the Rangers 1st is assumed to be bottom 10 and Habs 3rd is assumed to be top 10.

LA has too many bottom six forwards and a lot of kids that will be looking for ice time. They don't need any more.

Perrault for a 3rd ? Brisebois is smarter than that . The Chiarot trade is interesting , Cleeftors might be a good add. The Rangers deal died on the vine.

A 3rd for Kulak? I'd like Kulak, but that's expensive. How about a 4th instead?

Thank you for the input, I think the 3rd for Perrault makes sense as he can play up and down the lineup and hardly takes any cap space, but we shall see. At the end of the day does Tampa really care about that 3rd round pick?
