Imagine that pick ends up 1st or 2nd next year. I don’t think the Sens are trading a pick that isn’t top 2 protected in 2023

I think our 1sts should be untouchable until we’re a consistent playoff team (2024 is the earliest 1st that I would think should be in play, as long as the team has made the playoffs twice by then). We can probably get Fiala without it too. Pieces like Greig, our 2nd, and Brannstrom could be added, which should be helpful for the Wild (cheap, young players with upside that can be solid contributors over the next few seasons of cap hell).
