Wallinder at minimal is still 2 years away, One year in Sweden and one year in Grand Rapids. Those UFA signings are bad none of those are any upgrades for us. Isles decline Varlamov is worth far more than that.

No reason to sign Barabonov or Radulov, Veleno and Berggren will fill those spots. Wallinder is not ready for the NHL yet, most likely Edvinsson will be. Lindström would play over Oesterle on the right side. No reason to give up assets for a goalie, plenty of other options out there. Also probably better options than Chariot and Clifton for LD.

Each time I see the name William Wallinder I think of the movie Braveheart and William Wallace. Freeeeeedddoooooommmmm!!!

But I can't see Yzerman using offer sheets. I'd rather sign a UFA goalie like Husso or Holtby than acquire one via trade. But Stevie did trade for Nedeljkovic. I'd be interested in Blackwood if he's available. Berggren will likely be on the team.

Chiarot is too slow for my liking but we could use some size on D. No on Radulov. Veleno needs to playing each game and not eating popcorn with Stevie. Oesterle is not playing over Lindstrom. Edvinsson will make the team before Wallinder does.

No on Barabanov. If Stevie's going to sign a UFA it'll likely be a 2C. Though I wouldn't be opposed to signing UFA Mason Marchment. Nothing wrong with a big scoring winger. But his Florida stats are likely inflated from playing on a stacked Panthers team.
