Description
I'm not loving the potential that the avs might be looking radically different next season. Here I've put together a team that might work and could still be very competitive. There's money left over to add to new contracts if the price is too low. Additionally, I kept in mind that this is the final season of MacKinnon's current contract.

Nuke is probably a little low but I gave him term.
Drouin is a BIG question mark, but I could see it happening and revitalizing his career. He needs out of Montreal and in Colorado, he wouldn't be expected to produce at the level that Montreal expected.

I'd take that for Drouin, I think Lehkonen would get around the 3mil range, Nichuskin around 5 and Marchement around 3mil

I think youre underpaying the UFAs by a bit but overall I really like who you targeted in free agency. Stastny, Mikheyev, Marchment, Rutta are all good fits imo. Im not sure about Fleury, his numbers werent good last season but the upside is there if he can bounce back

Drouin trade is meh - removing him gets some cap space to make up for the underpays. I think Bednar would play Mikheyev, Marchment, or Lehkonen above him anyway since they are all more well rounded players (similar to how Burakovsky is healthy scratched/buried in the bottom 6 right now). I think Drouin has some untapped potential still and could break out in COL, but Im not sure if this offseason is the best time for COL to be gambling on a bounce back candidate
