This is HORRIBLE for San Jose. Paying that much to move up a couple picks this years is ridiculous. Gushchin isn’t going anywhere, he’s been a goal scoring monster and that’s exactly what the sharks lack. That Konecny trade is a massive overpay as well.

Bonino is worth a third, but Los Angeles has no need for a middle-6 center. We're overloaded with young guys there as it is (Byfield, Kupari, Vilardi, Turcotte, not to mention sparkplug Lizotte).

This is garbage. The Sharks would not pay that much to move up in the draft, Bonino probably isn't worth a third, and why you bought out Vlasic but left $17m in cap space... What's the point of buying someone out if you aren't going to use the space?
