He might be a Hart nominee this season, I would think to pry him from Calgary you'd have to offer him the Panarin contract tbh.

And you can only sign him for 7 years unless you're going to trade for his rights before free agency

Panarin got 10 mil at his age and didn't have nearly as a good season as he did. If I'm Johnny I am def asking for 10 mil or over he has been amazing this year a team should and will give him 10 mil+

Panarin was 27 when he signed in NY, Gaudreau will be 29 by start of next season, 10M+ for 7+ years will not age well, also he is 5'9", small players have shorter careers in 3-4 year his contract could end up being the worst in the league.
