The Scheifele trade could work but take out the Jets 1st. Scheif for #2 straight up is more fair.

Also Logan Cooley is going to Univ. of Minnesota so he won't be in the NHL next year, and also won't be making 1.25M. All ELC's are a max of 925K.

The Jets aren't moving assets including a first for another LD that they don't need. Arizonawould also be looking for less quantity, more quality.

Zero chance Winnipeg adds a first to Scheifele for a pick. Scheifele is easily worth more than Jersey's 1st. Jersey also isn't a Scheifele away from doing anything, so it doesn't make sense for them.
