Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Gourde, Yanni ($666,666 retained)
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (SEA)
Additional Details:
Seattle moves up 12 or so picks early in the draft and gets an NHL ready prospect with a lot of offensive potential if all works out, along with an effective 4/5 D Man who their head coach is a big fan of. Holl can be reflipped at deadline for assets w/ retained salary or can be kept as a long term bottom pair guy
SEA
  1. Abruzzese, Nick
  2. Holl, Justin
  3. 2022 1st round pick (TOR)
  4. 2023 4th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Toronto moves on from Holl who gets squeezed out of the lineup due to Sandin and Lily earning full time roles. Gourde checks all the boxes for what the Leafs want in the top 6. Abruzzese is a promising prospect but with guys like Robertson, Knies, etc ahead on the forward prospect depth chart it’s ok to move on from him. Pay extra bit for minor retained salary
2.
TOR
  1. Luukkonen, Ukko-Pekka [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Not sure what the ask would be but would be a great pickup. Buffalo has 3 young and upcoming goalies so they can afford to move 1

    3.
    TOR
    1. 2022 4th round pick (DAL)
    2. 2023 2nd round pick (DAL)
    3. 2023 4th round pick (DAL)
    DAL
    1. Duszak, Joseph [RFA Rights]
    2. Kerfoot, Alexander
    Additional Details:
Very solid middle 6er, would greatly improve Dallas’ forward depth as they look to contend. He provides a lot of versatility. Coming off a very strong season too. A 2nd and 2 later picks is roughly the value you’d expect based on the market for a versatile forward coming off a 50+ point campaign, tho could definitely fetch more. Duszak is a gamble for Dallas. Hasn’t had an NHL chance yet but lit up the AHL this past year. Reportedly requested a trade recently to get NHL time

One year of Kerfoot, with no exchange of cap doesn't get that return. Leafs undoubtedly are just going to release Duszak.
Luukonnen is goalie for the same Sabres, not a prospect.
Nothing in it for Seattle really for three years of Gourde.

UPL is our backup next season. We're not trading him.

The only goalie prospect we'd move would be Portillo

UPL isnt going anywhere. Sabres top goalie prospects will in NCAA for 2022-23 and Portillo`s right will be gone, he could sign anywhere after that.

For UPL the Sabers are ask for Mathews and Marner. You would have a better chance of getting Erik Portillo for a goalie or a physical L defense man
