This whole thread is ridiculous, but two comments:
      - That is literally the only scenario that Detroit takes Eller, with a sweetener (which I don't think makes sense for the Caps, as he has more value elsewhere, just not a great fit in Detroit)
      - I have a gut feeling Malkin will be a Cap on July 13th.

All of those trades are severe overpays by the Caps.

-Eller will get a 3rd by himself, he's not a cap dumb.
-At most you're spending a 3rd to move Hagelin, if he doesn't retire.
-I guess Dunn might get a 1st but Caps should not be trading their 1st for any defensemen, they are set there.
-Lap+1s+2nd alone would get Miller, all that other stuff is not needed
      -TvR would get a 3rd
-Wideman is a good bottom pairing defensemen and you want to use a good d prospect+a bunch of other stuff? no way.

Every trade is terrible / overpayment. Eller has value maybe a 4th. Hagelin will only cost a 3rd to dump not a good prospect + 2nd lol. Just sign Kulak bc he’s better than Dunn and won’t cost a 1st. Miller will cost Lappy + 1st + alexeyev or Iorio. You are way more for no reason.

Idfk what that Wideman trade is. Lol just really bad
