Description
With Marchand McAvoy being out for considerable time in the beginning of the season, I think it's time for the Bruins to cut costs and sell off basically everyone but Pasta, McAvoy, Swayman, and Lindholm. Maybe Zacha since we just traded for him

Trades
1.
BOS
  1. Lind, Kole [RFA Rights]
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (NSH)
SEA
  1. DeBrusk, Jake
  2. 2022 7th round pick (OTT)
2.
3.
BOS
  1. Holtz, Alexander
  2. Moynihan, Patrick [Reserve List]
  3. 2023 1st round pick (NJD)
  4. 2023 3rd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
After losing out on Gaudreau, New Jersey needs to acquire a star scoring winger to pair with their young center core. Marchand provides this and New Jersey has the cap space to take it on. I feel they would be comfortable to move on from a high ranking prospect, lower level prospect, and multiple picks to get this done.
NJD
  1. Marchand, Brad
Additional Details:
Marchand is a superstar player and could get a return this big, however, he is injured which needs to be taken into account so I structured the deal similarly to the Jack Eichel trade which was another injured superstar.
4.
BOS
  1. LaCombe, Jackson [Reserve List]
  2. 2023 1st round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Anaheim needs to get some more help for Zegras, moving a prospect and a pick could get them that. They have plenty of cap space to do it.
ANA
  1. Hall, Taylor
Additional Details:
Taylor Hall would get a return for Boston after a solid year and on a great contract.
5.
BOS
  1. Del Bel Belluz, Luca [Reserve List]
  2. Nyquist, Gustav
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (CBJ)
Additional Details:
Blue Jackets need to add to their RD and shed some cap to resign Laine. This move gives them some cap relief and gets them a RD. I think they would be willing to part ways with Nyquist, a center prospect, and a 2d to get it done.
CBJ
  1. Carlo, Brandon ($2 retained)
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
Right handed Defenseman are hard to come by in today's game so Carlo will likely get a very good return with his reliable defensive game. Retaining salary will increase value. Taking on Nyquist's cap which CBJ desperately needs also give BOS some value in this deal.
6.
BOS
  1. 2023 4th round pick (NSH)
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (NSH)
Additional Details:
Nashville could use another scoring wing and more scoring depth and are already familiar with Smith. I think a couple late round picks would be able to get Smith
NSH
  1. Smith, Craig
Additional Details:
When the Bruins aren't contending, they don't need Smith.
7.
BOS
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (NYI)
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
I picked the Islanders to give Romanov some more sheltered minutes but I think Grelyck is worth a 2d and 3rd considering how value Dmen are right now.
NYI
  1. Grzelcyk, Matt
Additional Details:
Grzelyck can get a good return from a team needing more depth on the left side
8.
BOS
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (ARI)
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
Doens't have to be to Arizona but I think Ullmark is worth 2 2d's

The Columbus trade is interesting. Man, the Gudbranson signing was bad. Because I’d absolutely love to get Carlo, but Peeke is too good not to play and Boqvist obviously plays if healthy. Carlo’s a clear upgrade on all three. Thems the breaks.

I also don’t know that they let del bel go already. We even knew going into the draft he was their likely target.
