I'd do that. Alot of other Devils fans wouldn't. Debrincat is a real domino to whatthe Hawks are going to be doing.

If DeBrincat was already locked up at a reasonable amount maybe, but that’s a lot to pay for a guy with 1 year left on his contract , a big raise upcoming, and possibly not any willingness to sign long term

Not sure that trade really helps Toronto at all. Murphy doesn't really solve any problems for them. Now they have more of a logjam at D and a bigger hole at goalie. I could see them coming to a Mrazek deal but I doubt this is it. Especially not for the first. If Muzzin is in that deal maybe it's something to be further explored, but that lowers the draft pick for sure.

I bet they'd be willing to look at that Strome deal and do that, depending on what his ask is. I bet Strome would prefer that (I am pretty sure him and Marner are fairly close) than going to Columbus.
