Colorado matches and increases that Nichushkin offer instantly. We're not letting him walk.

Agree with Salzy. Plenty of Holl comps the ducks could just sign in FA and have an excess of cap space to work with. Zero incentive to move Stolie for that

One year of a perfectly good backup goalie, whom we'd have to replace, is worth more to us than one year of a bottom-pairing defenseman, whom we can probably replace internally. Among other things, we might want to re-sign Stolarz after this season, which would be realistically impossible if we trade him, while with the prospects we have coming up, it's unlikely that we'd want to re-sign Engvall.

-Edmonton can bridge Puljujarvi for $3.5M or less, so why would they ship him out for pending UFA making that much?

-Anaheim needs something of value to move a good backup goaltender like Stolarz. A 30 year old RD on an expiring deal isn't really that valuable to a team still rebuilding.

-Chicago probably wants a sweetener to take Mrazek but it's probably the only likely place to trade him if you're not buying him out.
