Doubtful the CBJ consider that. They're looking for high end talent instead of depth so it doesn't make sense for them to trade down.

Don't think Columbus considers that, they should be pushing for a playoff spot next year and would rather spend that for a win now player

Win now probably isn't their mindset. Next year is probably a development and make the playoffs if the chips fall that way kind of year. I doubt they start making big acquisitions until after they get a better idea of what Johnson, Sillinger, Texier, Peeke, Chinakhov, Gavrikov, Boqvist and Marchenko will cost to extend over the next 2 years.
