Based on..? His wife is from here, and he was a favorite among fans, players, and management. Not to mention it’s already been rumored that Verbeek wants to try to bring him back. Honestly if that’s your only criticism I’m pleased

Why are the leafs paying that much for a guy who's posted bad backup numbers for 3 years while making over 6 mill?

I think you need to add 1M to the Manson deal, but with our cap that wouldn't change anything. So whatever on that.

Robertson is so over hyped by Toronto. If he's on our 3rd line I'll be very disappointed. I'd rather find a way to take Robertson and either Steel or Milano out of the trade.

4th line should be Jones - Carrick - Kassian. Waive Grant and send him to San Diego. Honestly I think the Ducks could do a lot better than Carrick too though. Chris Tierney is a UFA I like there.

Otherwise looks good to me.

Well I dont have a stake in the Leafs trade so I didn't want to comment on it. And even though I think Lucic may cost a bit less to move due to his actual money owed and the role he plays a 2nd isn't unrealistic by any means.

Personally I think Colorado will try very hard to keep Manson as they probably end up moving Girard, and Josh paired quite well with Byram. When players hit Unrestricted Free Agency for the first time in their prime they tend to try and go somewhere where they think they can win. I don't see Anaheim being a contender for a few years
