Ryan Strome and Copp are looking for maximum earnings. I'm sure at least strome would get a higher aav and more years elsewhere.

Copp might end up getting something similar in terms of AAV and term but idk if he wants half his earnings gone to taxes.

Too much lowballing RFA's and UFA's. Copp gets 5.5 mil AAV. Strome gets 6. Boosh gets 2. Engvall and Kase get 2. Mrazek is likely bought out.

Easier said than done. Muzzin has an absolute NTC and no one has ever adequately explained why he would leave his hometown team to go to a non-contender, and no contenders have the cap space for him. And there might not be any interest at all for Mrazek.

I think Lyubushkin would get something in the 2s, let's just say 2.5m to stay in Tor to account for error on other cheap resignings. Leaves you 1.3m in cap for flexibility.

With the 9m allocated to Copp and and Ryan Strome.

I would target all 3 of Strome, Marchment, and Kubalik if at least two of them are willing to take short term (Kubalik for 1 year at most and Strome/Marchment for 2) deals for on a discount and one of Strome/Marchment comes in on 3-4 years or Kubalik if he's willing to do it for cheap.

I think 4 for Marchment, 3.5 Strome, and 2.5 for Kubalik. (I think Marchment wouldn't be willing to bet on himself as much and goes for medium term, Strome would probably be down for 1 or 2 years of raising his stock, and Kubalik probaly only 1 year for that low, might be Strome who has to take 3x2 and Kubalik 3x1). Land all 3 or even 2 and Kase can go.

Very true. It's not totally out of the question though, should be easier than TB moving McDonagh since he has a NMC. The Leafs could make Muzzin want to go by threatening to bury him in the AHL (I don't think they will) but perhaps Muzzin would be open to moving but trying to find a reason would kind of be pointless.

The one thing that this ACGM did though was move Muzzin and sign free agents (even if there are lowballs) instead of trading him to make a series of trades that depend on moving Muzzin. With the signings at least you can say well if he doesn't get moved they would have to get a cheaper option of players X and Y.
