I’m sure Van would be willing to take back a guy like Tatar but you might have to add a mid round pick as well

That’s ridiculous. The Canucks are not contending, they’re not resigning Miller, 2OA is phenomenal value for a 30 year old entering UFA

#1: This is a Canucks fan doing this...

#2: A 30yr old, albeit a very good one, is not going to be worth Wright, Slaf, or even Cooley to this team when it comes to having a roster that isn't in cap hell costing young talent when this team is in their window.

This puts nothing into account for all the guys the Devils need to pay the following year ALONG with a Miller extension.
