if ottawa can get Debrinecat AND dump Murray for that, then all Mrazek can get you is a 5th for taking his contract

I feel like the ask from Chicago would be higher.
That being said, the real question for any team trading for DeBrincat is really what is the AAV going to have to be on his next contract. Likely what he would ask to sign long-term with the Sens will end up costing you another high prospect to free agency, so then is it worth it?

It sounds like Kubalik and Strome are both going to walk.

Maybe use that cap space to take on another a bad contract?

Stay away from Stetcher, Chicago needs the roster spot to let some of these young guys play.
