Not a ton left out there but let's see if we can upgrade a little bit with what's left floating around out there.

TRADES
It's two trades but they realistically function as one move: Josh Bailey OUT, Gustav Nyquist IN. Nyquist has produced better over the past couple years on lesser Columbus teams and has only one year left at $5.5M as opposed to the 2x$5M for Bailey. I figured I'd try and kill two birds with one stone and included Emil Bemstrom in the deal - a strong defensive winger who showed strong finishing skills before coming over from Sweden. I think throwing back Simon Holmstrom and a mid-round pick is fair value - CBJ needs the cap room, so there's not a ton of value, but Bemstrom is a young forward with NHL talent and I think you have to send value back to get a guy like that.

Bailey goes for whatever we can get back for him without including assets. I think a team like Seattle would value him based on what they've been doing this offseason - they seem to have a pair of high-potential young centers, and getting strong veteran wingers to pair up with them would be a smart move. But if anyone else wants Bailey, whatever, have him.
