You're missing Gavrikov. I simply do not see them letting him walk and he's going to cost $5+ mil to extend most likely. At least $1.5 mil needs to be accounted for for a ful roster as well. You're also missing Peeke who likely gets extended. Then there is Chinkahov as well that will need to be re-signed. JT Miller is not worth this much commitment and devastation to the lineup.

A cap dump for Kuraly likely costs a 2nd and 3rd going with him too at a minimum since that's what Washington had to pay to dump Nemeth's $2.5 mil.

Ngl I forgot about Chinakov but he prob can get signed to a bridge deal and Gavrikov would walk if its him or Miller

You have no understanding of how much Gavrikov means to the team if you're suggesting he would be allowed to walk.

But it’s miller or gavrikov and the first and texier and all of the rest. So not the most fair comparison.

Very true. The trade is now Texier, Gavrikov, Kuraly, Foudy, a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd to get Miller's 3 or 4 years of remaining high end hockey at $9.3 mil per year. This is also the scenario where Vancouver accepts what they probably see as a lowball offer for Miller.
