Chevy hasn;t done much so far this new year so i think he will go cheap UFA route and maybe make a 1 trade for the season start. Big year for Cole not sure where he fits on this team going to try C but RW is possible as well for this execise C is my call

I think you'd have to choose between the signings and the trade (with your caveats), as you wouldn't want to $2 million in potential bonus overages carry into 2023-24.

the bonus overage won't be affected because Gustafsson and Barron would be call ups fpr injuries the team cap its with the 13 forwards i believe the cap would come in at 81.4M with Barrom and Gustafsson in the minors

Gustafsson doesn't have performance bonuses and he is no longer waivers exempt. The Perfetti and Samberg ones are the ones to worry about which means as much as $1.2 million will be used up on day 1 the 2023-24.
