Canes pass. You're not getting Nybeck for a 3rd pairing D man. Carolina don't need more defensemen. Ignoring Slavin, Burns, Skjei, Pesce... Bear, Coghlan, Chatfield, Gardiner are already on the roster. This makes no sense.

I agree Mayfield isn’t a fit in Carolina. That being said he’s played top four minutes for the past four years and pretending otherwise is silly.
