Description

Hello everyone. This is at least one player from many teams that I would want as the starting piece for Jakob Chychrun. Now, if I am Arizona, I would want it to start with a LHD.. a good LHD. Just to warn you, I realize some teams would say no right off the bat, and some I would agree with.

This one is pretty obvious. Zellweger is a very good offensive defence man, and will be a stud in the NHL. I’m not sure if I would trade Zellweger if I am Anaheim, but I will leave that up to you guys! And yes, he is that good In my opinion. Having Chychrun, Fowler on the left is very good, but waiting may be the best decision.

Mintyukov would be a great starting price as well in my opinion, and this guy is the one out of the two that I would be more open to trading, but again, it may be better to hold onto him.

Byram? You gotta be trolling with that.

You dont think the Avs can afford to keep byram so you trade him for a guy who will make as much or not more than Byrams next contract?

Chychrun's biggest appeal is his team friendly deal for the next few years for the level of player that he is. Given that Anaheim will be burn most of that deal while the team continues to improve to playoff contention, he is of lower value to us than he would be to a team in the league who is much closer to the cap ceiling.

This paired with his injury history and I would rather hold onto those pieces than purchase Chychrun if I am the Ducks.

Like you said, some of these teams will say no right off the bat, but I don't think Arizona would want a LD as the main piece that they get for Chychrun, probably would want a C prospect. They probably would only want a LD in a one for one for one of those untouchables like Byram or Power. They want multiple pieces maybe thr secondary prospect would be a LD.
