Dallas Fans Robertson

It's not the worst Robertson trade I've seen, but if Dallas is trading a proven commodity I can't see them taking back a package that doesn't at least give them someone to plug into his top-6 role immediately. Sharangovich isn't a bad piece in that regard, but if Jersey is really serious about making Dallas an offer I've gotta believe that the package is centered around Jesper Bratt.

Bold offer for Robertson. Not sure how far apart team and player are, so hard to handicap.

The Arizona package may not be needed though. Bernier could be LTIR'ed. So really just Johnsson or Tatar that would have to be moved (maybe include one in Dallas deal).

Bernier is pretty healthy rn. May not be ready for the start of the season, but he’ll be back at the very latest within a few weeks. Better to do the move early

For the first time in a while I feel like the Devils have legitimate depth. While obviously Robo>Sharangovich is it really worth getting rid of Nemec, Boqvist, and Muk as well? Plus think about the massive cap hit that will come with a long term Robertson contract.

We already have our core pieces in place imo. Its time to build around them, which I think Fitz has done a good job with thus far.
