LA is not giving up a 2nd for Simmonds and Muzzin (if either of them even agrees to go to LA).

Also, the Hawks aren't also giving up Murphy in that Kane trade.

Jake Muzzin is a health liability, There is no way you're getting a 2nd+3rd+4th round pick for both Muzzin and Simmonds. You'd be lucky to get a 4th for Muzzin right now and Simmonds wont return more than a 6th or 7th round pick.

3 pending UFAs in Kerfoot, Engval and Holl plus Minten a late 1st and 3rd round pick, is nowhere close to getting you both Kane at $5,250,000 and Murphy you're at least another 1st rounder short plus both aren't being moved for pure garbage.

Kings wouldn't pick LTIR Muzzin and his $5.625 million cap hit up off waivers.

But there IS a possibility that we would pick Simonds up off waivers. It might be interesting to see him on 4th line RW opposite Brendan Lemieux.
