Description

I don't see Jackets trading this years 1st but 2024 I could see. Jackets has so many promising young defenseman that losing Ceulemans wouldn't hurt them too much. Horvat could be a good leader and be huge help at the C position for Columbus. Horvat signs an extension with Jackets.

Solid offer. If I'm the Canucks I'd be pushing for the 1st to be 23' but if not this deal would be acceptable should we not receive anything better in my mind.

I’d say switch Cuelamens for Boqvist and Jarmo would consider making the trade, I know he is super high on Cuelamens. I’d also be concerned what the extension would like like, I’m not sure Columbus really has the cap room for him at over 7 mil unless they were able to get out from voracek’s contract.

We need current top 4 D help If we trade Bo it would be for D man.No real fit here.IMHO.

I think the jackets flip Nyquist half retained in a separate deal. Horvat would have to sign for 7 million or less to justify this cost. Don’t really see them giving up this much unless horvat signs a very team friendly deal. Otherwise they will pursue him in FA
