Description

I am borrowing the first three trades from ChiHawk who had the best ACGM I have seen in a long time. But I think it was a move or two short for this year.

I brought up a few Rockford players who I think deserve a look with out totally taking away everything Rockford has so that they can still compete highly. Not all of these players will go but let’s try to clear space.

Kane is not the solution to the rangers. Plus long term cap doesnt work out at all unless you let Kane walk, which makes no sense to go all in for a rental this season

All these trades seem reasonable and you have the right idea in mind. Trade everyone and get back picks and young players. Typically we don't see rebuilding team make this many moves though. I'd say 2-5 would be normal because making moves takes time and most GM's aren't able to sell that much at the deadline. I would be starting now if I was Chicago. They need to move Kane or Toews, Domi, and AA for sure

Caps don't have the roster space for Jones with Alexeyev up and Irwin likely not being sent down, so they would decline. Is Phillips a big upgrade over Jones? I'd think Chicago would keep a hold of Jones, even as a scratch, so they aren't bringing up Rockford players too early.
