I think any deal involving Patrick Kane will include at the very least an unprotected 1st round pick plus a top end prospect. Since it is all but a certainty CHI would retain 50% of his contract, and the possibility of another team facilitating even more retention, there should be no shortage of suitors for the superstar.

With that being said, I think a deal between LAK & CHI starts with a 2023 1st and Byfield. I could see Turcotte instead but with more picks involved.

Sean Durzi plus for Jake McCabe. I'm going in a different direction.

Take more than just a 2023 1st round pick, To get Patrick Kane out of Chicago.

I don't think the Kings have any interest in Patrick Kane. Scoring isn't their problem.

Lol a 34 year old rental doesn't get the team's future 1C, doesn't matter who that 34 year old is. Any GM that would do that would be sabotaging their career.

Besides, LA isn't just a Patrick Kane away from a cup. I don't think there's any trade to be made here at all.
